Had to use a backup ISP today and could not telnet into my corporate systems due to the firewall (it's working!). How do I find out my dynamic IP address from the ISP to consider adjusting the firewall? One way in Windows is to use winipcfg. I actually ran winipcfg /all because I have multiple network adaptors on my PC.

What browser shows you the height and width of an image when you load that image as a page?

Netscape (at least up to 4.05), but not Internet Explorer (at least up to 4.0) or Opera (up to 3.60). And Netscape will display an image from within a page if you right click on the image and select "View Image".

Why do you need to know?

Because your site will appear to load much faster if you include Width= and Height= values in all IMG tags. See the images in this web page for example (View|Source). Plus, you can adjust the sizes to make the picture display larger or smaller, just be sure to change them proportionally unless you want to stretch an image out! I use Image|Resize in Paint Shop Pro to compute the resized Width and Height.
